Welcome to my web site. I have been dealing in paper money in the U.K. since 1986 and I hold a large and varied stock of banknotes.
As a collector, you are almost certain to find items here which will be of interest to you. This site hosts my full current
paper money and banknote price lists which are posted on a regular basis. There is a link to my other site TheBanknoteStore.com where you will find many hundred of notes on offer, each one fully illustrated. The store houses a British Paper Money section with banknotes from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and Gibraltar. This site is operated by myself and John Bouvier, my son-in-law and specialises in banknote sets and offers on groups of notes from many countries of the world. I pride myself on offering a first class mail order service for all collectors of banknotes and paper money. My world banknote lists are updated on a monthly basis, and lists of British Isles notes are updated quarterly, so if you check back regularly you will always find new material on offer. All notes are offered subject to prior sale. Banknotes illustrated in any of the featured areas of my website are subject to change depending upon stock availability. Illustrations are for identification purposes only and are not necessarily the notes on offer. I have tried to design my website with the banknote collector (rather than the computer wizard) in mind. In TheBanknoteStore.com I have deliberately included hundreds of illustrations so that, where ever possible you can see what you are buying. I think you will find it straightforward and easy to navigate with all sections adequately linked. If you do come across any links which do not work, please let me know so that I can repair them. With the advent of the 4th. edition, published in April 2005, this is now by far the most comprehensive catalogue and guide available to collectors of British paper money. Most of the references for world banknotes are taken from the Standard Catalogues of World Paper Money, published by Krause.
